The human body has a hard job to do looking after everything we expect of it so in return we should take more time looking after it. If you are one of those people that just cannot refuse seconds then you might find this of interest. You know the sort of person I’m referring to, someone who will raid the refrigerator and eat all the leftovers, no matter what they are. A bit of cake here, some cookies there, leftover pie, as soon as you see it, you have to have it. Well you are not alone because many people are like this today, never considering their diet or the benefits that health supplements can bring.
That may have been rather vivid but I would never encourage people to consume anything and everything. To avoid muscle and joint injury, it is important to carry out warm up and stretching exercises prior to any fitness training workout. There are some other points to remember as well that can ensure a safe and enjoyable workout. Firstly, stretching should be carried out because it improves the flexibility of muscles and joints prior to and after a workout. Almost everyone knows that stretching before body workout prevents injuries, but only a few people know that stretching after workout, when muscles are still warm, can increase flexibility.
While holding a position for a mere twenty seconds is enough for a warm, to really get the benefit when you have completed your workout you need to hold that position for a good minute. Many people make the mistake of stretching and returning to their original position to quickly when the movement should be slow and measured. Some people have injured themselves because they extend beyond their limits and do not hold the stretched position for a few seconds before returning slowly. Work slowly in increments instead of immediately proceeding to doing the hardest exercise or position so make sure that you have stretched or warmed up all muscle groups.
A commonly forgotten area of the body to warm up, and one that is easy to injure, is the neck so make sure that the neck is warmed up by applying pressure to the head at the front, back and sides using pressure from the palm of your hand. Stretching should also take place during any fitness training workout as well to keep the muscles and joints flexible especially prior to an exercise that may be strenuous on particular areas of the body. It is a common sight seeing relative newcomers try to compete with people who are far more advanced but this is never a good idea; just stick to what your body is comfortable with and you will gradually increase you abilities. Do not expect your body to be able to carry out the same exercises and level of training every time you go to the gym because some days you will have a better workout than others; this is perfectly normal and to be expected.
If you are someone who goes to the gym for fitness training every day then remember to alternate the muscle groups as they need to rest and grow for a day before being used again. Aerobic exercises are the best for you because they will improve you cardiovascular system, improve your stamina, lung capacity and overall fitness; exercises like skipping running, rowing, swimming, stepping machines etc. It is well known that music makes exercise easier as the beat is something you can follow and these days the tiny mp3 players can be attached without too much bother. Make sure you get a decent pair of headphones though because you will probably want your music loud but not everyone else will want to listen to it. Stretching your body is a form of exercise in itself and a pleasant way to relax at the end of a hard day so it is worth doing regularly even if you do not want to workout.

Asthma seems, over the last few decades, to have become one of the biggest health issues affecting the world’s population.
